Our Story
Sentence & Sence began as a simple idea in May 2026, when an email landed in our inbox explaining how a professional proofreading career could be within reach with the right training and dedication. The idea clicked instantly. For years, we’d been happily polishing resumes, cover letters, and all kinds of documents for friends, family, colleagues, and even strangers who just needed a careful eye. Turning that quiet passion into a real service felt like the natural next step. Today, Sentence & Sence exists to bring that same care, clarity, and attention to detail to every project we touch.
At Sentence & Sence, we believe great editing should be both meticulous and timely. Every project receives careful, line-by-line attention to detail, but never at the expense of your deadlines. About the Owner
Rachel Malone, founder of Sentence & Sence, grew up with deep roots in Georgetown, Texas and now lives in Houston with her dog, Princess. When she isn’t polishing prose, you’ll find her at car shows, camera in hand, later turning her favorite shots into detailed drawings. An eclectic reader, she devours everything from philosophy and autobiographies to classic literature, romance, comics, and travel writing. She loves the outdoors—camping, fishing, and tackling tough terrain in her Jeep—and unwinds in her spare time with video games and a long list of other creative pursuits.
